Well, I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it, but they tellin’ me there’s this… stuff… online about girls and… horse stuff. I don’t rightly know how to say it proper, but it ain’t somethin’ I’d talk about at Sunday dinner, that’s for sure.
They got these… movies, I guess you’d call ’em, and they showin’ things I can’t even hardly imagine. Young girls, some of ’em look like they ain’t even old enough to vote, doin’ things with horses that just ain’t right. I heard tell they call it “horse porn” or some such nonsense. Porn, that’s another word I ain’t comfortable sayin’, but it’s what they use.
Now, I ain’t no prude, but there’s a line, and this here crosses it by a country mile. They say these girls are… well, they’re takin’ the horse’s… you know… the stuff that makes the baby horses. And they’re… drinkin’ it. Lord have mercy. Just the thought of it makes my stomach churn.

They talk about it like it’s just another thing, you know? Like it ain’t no different than watchin’ the chickens peck in the yard. But it ain’t the same, not by a long shot. There’s somethin’ dark and twisted about it, somethin’ that makes my skin crawl.
And it ain’t just the… drinkin’. They got these girls doin’ all sorts of things with the horses. Things I wouldn’t even whisper about, let alone describe in detail. It’s enough to make a body sick, it truly is.
I don’t understand it, I really don’t. Why would anyone want to watch somethin’ like that? Why would anyone want to do somethin’ like that? It’s beyond my comprehension. Makes me think there’s some folks out there with a screw loose, if you know what I mean.
And the worst part is, they say it’s easy to find this stuff. Just a few clicks and there it is, right on your screen. That ain’t right, neither. Kids could stumble across it, for heaven’s sake. Somethin’ needs to be done, but I don’t know what. I’m just an old woman, what do I know?
It’s a sad state of affairs, that’s what it is. Makes you lose faith in humanity, just a little bit. I hope them girls get some help, and I hope them folks makin’ them movies get what’s comin’ to ’em. That’s all I got to say about that.
I keep thinkin’ about them poor horses too. Animals ain’t meant for that kind of thing. Makes me want to hug my old Bess, she’s a good girl, my horse is. Never done nothin’ but work hard and be gentle. Don’t deserve to be mixed up in this mess, none of ‘em do.
Anyway, I just wanted to get that off my chest. It’s been weighin’ on my mind somethin’ fierce. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got chores to do. And I surely ain’t gonna be lookin’ for those movies, you can bet your bottom dollar on that.
