The Grinch Drink Ideas for a Festive Holiday Party

Hey everyone, I tried making that Grinch drink that’s been all over the internet, and I want to tell you all about it.

I started by gathering all the stuff I needed. The recipes online were all a bit different, so I decided to just wing it. I grabbed some vodka, blue curaçao because it’s what one post talked about, and orange juice since another post mentioned it, too. I also found some pineapple juice in the fridge, thinking it might be a good addition.

I took a regular-sized glass and poured in about an ounce of vodka. Then I added maybe half an ounce of the blue curaçao, it looks really cool, but it made the drink look more blue than green at this point. I filled the rest of the glass with a mix of orange and pineapple juice. I stirred it a bit and took a sip.

  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1/2 ounce blue curaçao
  • Orange juice
  • Pineapple juice

It was a bit strong, to be honest. Maybe a little too much vodka. The color was more of a weird blue than the Grinch green I was going for. Next time, I will definitely use less vodka. I might also play around with green Hawaiian Punch and pineapple Fanta, like another blog suggested, to get that perfect Grinchy color. Oh, and a marshmallow rim! How fun does that sound? I saw a post about it and definitely want to try that.

I’ll keep experimenting and let you all know how it goes. I also saw a recipe that used lime juice, grapefruit juice, jalapeños, and ginger beer. That sounds interesting, a bit spicy, but maybe good? So there’s another one to try!

It’s all about having a bit of fun and seeing what works. I’ll share updates as I make different versions. Maybe we can figure out the best Grinch drink recipe together!
