Okay, so, I had this craving, right? A serious one. For cookies. But not just any cookies – I wanted that classic peanut butter and jelly combo, but in cookie form. So, I decided to whip up a batch of PB and J cookies. Let me tell you, it was a journey.
First, I gathered my ingredients. Now, I’m no fancy baker, so I kept it simple. Just the usual suspects: peanut butter, some sugar, you know, the basics. Baking Time

- I didn’t really keep track, just waited until they looked kinda golden brown around the edges.
- I took them out and let them cool. I don’t know for how long. I was too impatient.
The moment of truth. I took a bite. Man, it was a flavor explosion. It tasted like my childhood. The peanut butter was all warm and gooey, and the jelly had turned into this sweet, sticky puddle of awesomeness.
They weren’t perfect, not even close. Some were a little overcooked, others a bit undercooked. The jelly kinda overflowed in a few of them. But you know what? They were my cookies. I made them. And they tasted pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.
So, yeah, that’s the story of my PB and J cookie adventure. It was simple, it was messy, and it was delicious. I’d say it was a success. And I’ll probably do it again sometime soon. Maybe next time, I’ll try a different kind of jelly. Or maybe add some chocolate chips. Who knows? The possibilities are endless.
