Annapolis Dinner Under the Stars, how to book and what is the best experience?
So, I finally checked out this thing called “Dinner Under the Stars” in Annapolis. It’s been on my list for a while, you know, one of those things you always hear about but never actually do. Well, let me tell you, it was an experience!
I decided to go on a Wednesday, I mean the weekend is better, but I don’t have time. The whole thing kicks off at 6 PM, I arrived there and, oh boy, the atmosphere was incredible! It felt like stepping into a movie scene or something. I walked along the first block of West Street, right in the heart of Annapolis, and it was all lit up. It was a really warm and welcoming vibe.
Now, I’m a big foodie, so I was really excited about the dining options. There are tons of restaurants along the street that participate in this event. Each one sets up tables outside, right on the street. I ended up choosing an Italian place. I sat at a table and there was live music playing nearby. I’m not sure what band it was, but they were good! It really added to the whole experience, enjoying a nice meal and listening to live music under the stars.
- Find a spot: I saw a lot of families and groups of friends, and it seemed like everyone was having a blast. They closed down the street to cars, so you can just walk around freely, which is pretty cool.
- Enjoy the food: The food was pretty great, by the way, a big plate of pasta that I couldn’t even finish!
- Enjoy the music: There was also live music, which added a lot to the atmosphere.
- Just relax: There are also other types of entertainment, like this street performer, it’s just a great place to relax and have a good time.
Honestly, it’s one of those things you have to experience for yourself. It’s a perfect way to spend a Wednesday or Saturday evening, I highly recommend checking it out if you’re ever in Annapolis during the summer!
The whole thing wrapped up around 10 PM. I took a leisurely stroll back, just soaking it all in. It was a magical night, and I’m definitely planning on going back before the summer ends.
