Okay, so I decided to try making that “Bel Air Rose Drink” thing everyone’s been talking about. I mean, who can say no to a pretty pink drink, right? Especially when it involves sparkling wine. Let me tell you, it was quite an adventure!
First off, I got all my ingredients together. I grabbed some fresh strawberries, because those are key. Then, I needed a lime and, of course, the star of the show – a bottle of Luc Belaire Rosé. This stuff is from the South of France, and let me just say, the bottle alone is gorgeous.
So, I started by tossing those strawberries into my food processor. I whizzed them around until they were all smooth and puréed. Then, I squeezed the juice of one lime right into the mix and gave it a good stir. It smelled amazing already – all fruity and fresh.
Next, I took my fancy champagne flutes and carefully filled them about a quarter of the way up with the strawberry-lime purée. Then came the fun part. I opened that beautiful bottle of Belaire Rosé and slowly poured a little over the purée. I gave each glass a gentle stir, just enough to combine the flavors.
Finally, I topped off each flute with more of that bubbly Rosé, watching it fizz and turn the most gorgeous shade of pink. It looked just like something you’d see at one of those fancy summer weddings or a bachelorette party.
I have to say that, it’s really good!
- It’s got that perfect balance of sweet and tart from the strawberries and lime.
- The floral notes are subtle but definitely there.
- And the bubbles, oh the bubbles! They make everything better.
I’m definitely making this again. Maybe I’ll even try a frozen version next time, like those watermelon Rosé slushies I saw somewhere. Anyway, if you’re looking for a refreshing and pretty drink to enjoy, give this one a try! You won’t be disappointed.
