Today I tried something new – Castleman Cookies. I’ve heard a lot of buzz about them, some say they’re amazing, others are not so impressed. So, naturally, I had to see for myself what all the fuss was about. I’m a simple guy who appreciates a good cookie, and I was curious to find out if these lived up to the hype.
First, I checked out their menu. They had a lot of choices, but they were out of other dessert options, so I went straight for the cookies. I noticed they had some unique flavors, which was a good start. I remember seeing some posts online talking about how some Crumbl cookies are the best they’ve ever had, especially the frosting, so I was hopeful.
I ordered a few different kinds, including their chocolate chip one. I mean, a classic chocolate chip is a must-try, right? It brings back childhood memories and it’s a good benchmark. I also picked a couple of the more unusual flavors to get a good sense of their range.
When I got the cookies, they looked pretty good. Big and soft, just like I like them. I took my first bite of the chocolate chip one. It was okay, pretty standard really. Honestly, it reminded me of the ones you can get from a grocery store. Not bad, but nothing special.
Next, I tried one of the special flavors. It had a whipped frosting, which I was excited about based on what I read online. And you know what? It was actually pretty good! The frosting was light and airy, not too sweet. It was different, in a good way.
I went through the rest of the cookies. Some were better than others. The ones with the unique frostings were definitely the highlight. They were interesting and tasty. But the basic cookies, like the chocolate chip, were just average.

It really comes down to what you like. I enjoyed some of them, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get them again. They were just okay. My tastebuds are not craving for more, and maybe that’s just me. But hey, you might love them! That’s just how life is sometimes. You just have to try it for yourself and see.
