I checked out a bunch of websites and read some reviews. One place called “Queens Landing” kept coming up, so I dug a little deeper into that one. It seems like they are pretty popular around here. Then, there was another one, “Lake Hickory Adventures.” Their website looked decent, and they had some good reviews, too. I also found this one “Yachta Yachta Yachta Charters” I mean, who comes up with these names? It caught my attention though. They are like a private yacht thing, which sounds fancy but probably costs a fortune. And “Funny Bus Charlotte”, it seemed like not my type.
I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for, to be honest. A big party boat? A quiet, romantic thing? Something in between? I spent a good amount of time just clicking around, comparing prices and what they offered. It seemed like most of them had a buffet dinner, some had live music, and they all cruised around the lake for a couple of hours.
Making the Choice
After weighing the options, I decided to go with Queens Landing. Their prices seemed reasonable, and the reviews were mostly positive. Plus, they had a variety of cruise options, like a sightseeing lunch, a dinner cruise, and even some special event things.
Booking was pretty easy. I just did it online through their website. You pick your date, the type of cruise, and how many people. Then you pay, and boom, you’re all set. They send you a confirmation email with all the details.
The Day of the Cruise
On the day of the cruise, I got there a little early to check things out. The boat was docked, and it looked pretty big. I was excited, I’m not gonna lie. People were starting to line up, and there was a good mix of folks – couples, families, groups of friends.
