Now, get yourself a pot. Not too small, not too big. Fill it up with water, most of the way, like, maybe three-quarters full. Then, dump in them dried flowers. My neighbor said two cups, so I guess that’s about right. Don’t be stingy, but don’t go wastin’ them either. They ain’t cheap, you know.

Next, put that pot on the stove and turn the fire up high. Let it boil, let it bubble like a hot spring. You’ll see the water turnin’ all red, like a beet, but prettier. Once it’s boilin’ good, turn off the fire and put a lid on the pot. Let it sit there, just sit and cool down. Don’t go messin’ with it. Patience, you gotta have patience.
