Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about them Thursday dinner deals. It’s like this, see? Some folks, they like to eat out on a Thursday. Don’t know why, maybe they’re tired of cookin’ after workin’ all week, or maybe they just got a hankerin’ for somethin’ different.
Anyways, these restaurants, they figured this out. So, they started offerin’ these here deals on Thursdays. Deals, you know? Like, cheaper food. Makes sense, I guess. Get folks in the door, sell ’em some food, make a little money. That’s how it works.
Now, I ain’t been to all these fancy places, mind you. But I heard tell of some of these deals. Like, this Del Taco place. They got them tacos, three of ’em, for just a few dollars. That ain’t bad, if you like tacos, that is. My grandson, he likes them tacos. Eats ’em all the time.
And then there’s this El Torito. They got all-you-can-eat lunch. Can you believe that? All you can eat! Sounds like a good way to fill up your belly, but I don’t know how much I could eat. I ain’t as young as I used to be, you know?
- BJ’s Restaurants – Tri-Tips or ribs for $17.50. Sounds kinda pricey to me, but maybe it’s good. They also got a full rack for $22.50. More food, more money, I reckon.
- Arby’s – Two for $6. Now, that sounds more like it. Two sandwiches for six dollars? That’s a deal I can understand.
- Bonefish Grill – $7 specials. Don’t know what they got for seven dollars, but it can’t be too much food. Maybe for them city folks with their small appetites.
Then you got all them other places, Popeyes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Red Lobster, even that Ikea place. They all got somethin’ goin’ on Thursdays. Buy one get one free, they call it “BOGO.” Sounds fancy, but it just means you get two for the price of one. I always say, that’s a good deal!
Now, if you’re in that big city, New York they call it, you got even more choices. Places with funny names like Olio e Pi, Calle Dao, and Tavern on Jane. I ain’t never heard of them places, but I guess they got some good deals too. Folks are always talkin’ about eatin’ in New York.
Some of these places, they got specials at night, dinner specials they call ’em. The Cabin NYC, Gran Morsi, Upstate Craft Beer & Oyster Bar. Oysters? I ain’t never eaten no oyster. Don’t know if I want to. But them city folks, they’ll eat anything, I guess.
Ruby Tuesday, that’s a name I recognize. They got a $10.99 dinner deal. That’s a fair price, I think. Not too cheap, not too expensive. Just right, maybe.
So, there you have it. A whole bunch of places offerin’ deals on Thursday. You just gotta find the one that suits your taste and your wallet. Me? I’m happy with a good home-cooked meal. But if you’re lookin’ for a deal, well, now you know where to find ‘em. Thursday’s the day for deals, seems like. Just remember, some of these places, you gotta make a reservation. That’s what they call it, a reservation. Means you gotta call ahead and tell ‘em you’re comin’. Fancy, huh?
And don’t forget to check the reviews. Folks like to write about their experiences, good and bad. That can help you decide where to go. But sometimes, you just gotta try it out for yourself. That’s the best way to know if a place is good or not.
So, go on out there and get yourself a good Thursday dinner deal. Your belly will thank you, and your wallet might too. Just don’t eat too much, you hear? Gotta save some room for dessert!
