Corn bread, well, that’s just corn bread, but they make it a little sweeter down there, I hear. And tustacas, those are like big biscuits, real crumbly and good with butter.

They got other foods too, you know, not just sweets. They eat stuff like sopa de caracol, that’s snail soup, believe it or not. And fried fish, can’t go wrong with fried fish. And tamales, oh I love tamales. Meat and corn all wrapped up in a leaf, steamed till it’s soft and yummy. And carne asada, that’s grilled meat, real flavorful. And baleadas, kinda like a big tortilla filled with all sorts of stuff. And then there’s meat roasted with chismol, and chicken with rice and corn. But we’re talkin’ about desserts here, so I won’t go on too much about that other stuff.
