Okay, so last weekend, I decided to put together some dessert platters for a little get-together I was having. I’ve always loved the idea of having a variety of sweets for everyone to nibble on, you know, just grazing and enjoying whatever catches their eye. That’s my jam!

I decided to make a batch of my favorite chocolate chip cookies – the chewy kind, not the crispy ones. While those were baking, I whipped up some brownies. Can’t go wrong with brownies, right? Oh, the smell of brownies in my house, that’s heaven!

To add a little elegance, I got some cute little paper cups and put some chocolate-covered almonds in them. Scattered those around the board, and boom! It was looking like a proper dessert platter.
Finally, I melted some white chocolate and drizzled it over the whole thing. Just a little bit, to tie everything together. And for a final touch, I added some fresh mint leaves here and there for a pop of green and that fresh, herby smell.
The result?
Everyone loved it! People were mixing and matching, trying different combinations. Some went straight for the cookies, others were all about the fruits. And the best part? Clean up was a breeze! Just a few crumbs to wipe up and the board was good as new. I’m definitely doing this again for my next party.
