Okay, so today I wanted to try something I’ve been seeing all over the internet – edible cookie dough. You know, the kind you can just eat straight from the bowl without worrying about getting sick from raw eggs? Yeah, that stuff. Mixing it up
Once the flour was cooled, I got to work. I creamed together the butter and both sugars until it was all light and fluffy. Then I mixed in the vanilla extract and gradually added the milk until I got a nice, smooth consistency. Next, I added the heat-treated flour and stirred until everything was well combined. Finally, the best part – I dumped in a generous amount of chocolate chips and folded them into the dough.
Taste test
- Appearance: It looked just like regular cookie dough, maybe a little bit softer.
- Texture: Super smooth and creamy, just like I hoped.
- Taste: Oh boy, this stuff was good. It tasted like the best parts of cookie dough without any weird raw flour taste. The chocolate chips were the perfect addition.
