Okay, so, get this – I’m going to CookieCon 2025 in Reno! I know, right? It’s like a dream come true for anyone who’s obsessed with cookies. I started to plan this journey last month.
First things first, I checked out the schedule. They put up a tentative one, you know, subject to change and all that. But it gave me a good idea of what to expect. The event is going to be from March 26-29 at the Peppermill Resort. So many cool things are planned, like specific demos and breakout sessions. I began to mark down the interesting activities on my calendar.
Then, I booked a room at the Peppermill Resort. I got a room for four, ’cause why not? It’s always more fun with company. I even thought, “Hey, maybe I can find some fellow cookie enthusiasts to split the room with.” Posted it on their page and waited for replies. It did not take me long to find three cookie lovers to share the room.
Next up, tickets. I made sure to set a reminder for November 6th ’cause that’s when they went on sale. Had to be quick, you know? These things sell out fast. Set an alarm and got my tickets on my phone. I successfully grabbed two tickets.
Now, here’s a fun thought – I’m considering teaching a class at CookieCon. They’re accepting applications for different types of instructors. Imagine me, up there, sharing my cookie wisdom! Filled out the application form last week. Let’s see if I can get it.
And it’s not just about cookies. I heard Reno has a lot of comic cons and pop culture events. I mean, cookies and comics? That’s like the best combo ever. So, I’m definitely going to check those out while I’m there. Started to search for some fan conventions in Reno during that time.
I’m really looking forward to this trip. It’s not every day you get to go to a cookie convention. And in Reno, at the Peppermill Resort? It’s going to be epic. I’m already picturing all the amazing cookies, the people I’ll meet, and the fun I’ll have.
So yeah, that’s my plan for CookieCon 2025. Pretty exciting, huh? I’ll keep you guys updated as it gets closer. Maybe I’ll even do a live blog or something from there. Stay tuned!
