So, first off, I had to get into this garden thing. Turns out, you need to upgrade your farm using a “sugar lump” to unlock it. I didn’t even know what a sugar lump was, but I figured it out. You just save them up until you have enough to upgrade. I spent a few days just clicking away, getting those cookies, and waiting for the sugar lumps to show up.
Once I finally got that farm upgraded, the garden opened up. It looked like a little plot of land where you can plant seeds. I saw some folks online talking about these special plants like “Bakeberries” and “Queenbeets,” saying they give you tons of cookies when you harvest them. Sounded pretty good to me! I started planting whatever seeds I had, just to see what would happen.
Here’s where it got interesting. I noticed that different seeds grow at different speeds, and some need to be planted next to each other to even grow in the first place. That was a surprise! It’s not like you just throw seeds down and wait, you actually have to think about it a little. And it is not like other minigames, it is so different.
I messed around with different combinations, trying to get those special plants. It took a while, but I finally managed to grow some Bakeberries. The feeling when you see it on your garden is so great. Then I found out you can change the soil type, too! I switched to the “fertilizer” soil to make things grow faster, and then to the “clay” soil when I wanted to harvest at just the right time to get the most cookies.
Then I learned a little trick. I waited until I had a big multiplier going from clicking the big cookie, and then I harvested those Bakeberries. Man, the number of cookies I got was insane! It was way more than I was getting before. I felt like I’d cracked some secret code or something.
But it’s not just about Bakeberries. I also tried growing Queenbeets, which are even harder to get but give even bigger rewards. It took even longer, but it was totally worth it. The whole process of figuring out the garden, experimenting with different plants, and timing the harvests just right, it’s like a whole game within the game. I have to say, I’ve been spending a lot more time in the garden than I thought I would. There are probably a lot of guides about it, I did not learn it, I just played it.
