This way, I could make the desserts ahead of time and not worry about them getting messed up or contaminated. And since it’s a kids’ party, I know they will play around and run everywhere, so the lids can ensure the safety.
But then there were also these reusable cups. I mean, washing and reusing them sounds great on paper, but who has the time for that during a party? Plus, I didn’t want the kids to accidentally break any and get hurt. Safety first, you know? We’re talking about a bunch of excited kids running around. Plastic is way safer than glass in that sense.
My Decision
So, after going back and forth, I decided to go with the clear plastic dessert cups with lids. Yeah, they’re not the most eco-friendly, but they are just so much easier to deal with. I can make the desserts, slap on the lids, and not worry about a thing. Plus, they actually look pretty nice. I can layer the desserts, and they’ll look all fancy and stuff. It is just more convenient.
