Thanksgiving Dinner Marie Callender Style: Enjoy a Tasty Meal Without the Hassle
Okay, so Thanksgiving was coming up, and I really wanted that warm, cozy feeling of a big homemade meal. But honestly, I just didn’t feel like cooking a whole feast this year. I mean, who has the time, right? So, I started thinking, “What are my options?”
Then I remembered Marie Callender’s. I saw somewhere that they do a Thanksgiving dinner thing. I was like, “Hmm, that might be the ticket!” So, I checked it out.
Turns out, they were offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner that you could pick up and take home. And get this, it was only $22.99! I thought, “Wow, that’s a pretty good deal, considering all the work it saves me.”
I decided to go for it. I mean, why not? It’s way cheaper than buying all those ingredients and spending hours in the kitchen. Plus, I wouldn’t have to deal with a mountain of dishes afterward.
So, I ordered the dinner. It was super easy. I picked it up from one of their restaurants on Thanksgiving Day. I chose the turkey dinner, although they also had ham as an option. When I got it home, I just had to heat it up.
- First, I preheated the oven. Easy peasy.
- Then, I followed the instructions on the containers to heat up each dish. Some went in the oven, some on the stovetop.
- While everything was heating up, I set the table, and put out some drinks.
In no time, dinner was ready! It came with all the fixings – you know, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, the whole nine yards. They even included a cup of creamy potato cheese soup, which was a nice touch.
Let me tell you, it was delicious! Everything tasted homemade, and it was so much easier than cooking everything myself. We all enjoyed it, and there was plenty of food for everyone. Even had some leftovers for the next day!
The Result
