Okay, so, I wanted to try out some new pasta shapes, and I stumbled upon this thing called “Cellentani”. It looked kinda cool, like little corkscrews, so I grabbed a box. It’s from Barilla, that brand you always see at the store.
First, I just boiled some water and tossed the Cellentani in. It took, I dunno, like 8-10 minutes to get it cooked, just like regular pasta. Gotta give it a taste test to make sure it’s not too hard, you know?
While the pasta was cooking, I started messing around with a sauce. I fried up some garlic in olive oil, that’s always a good start. Then, I threw in some chopped tomatoes and let them simmer for a bit. I wanted to make it a little creamy, so I added a splash of heavy cream. Seasoned it with salt, pepper, a little oregano, the usual stuff.
Try to make them with some sauces

Tossed the cooked Cellentani with the sauce and mixed it all up. To finish it off, I grated some Parmesan cheese on top. That’s it! It turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. The Cellentani shape really holds the sauce well, and it’s just fun to eat, too.

I’ve also been looking online, and there are a bunch of other Cellentani recipes. Some people make it with pesto, others with a meat sauce. It seems like you can really do anything with it, just like any other pasta. I saw one recipe where someone baked it in the oven with cheese, like a casserole. That sounds pretty awesome, might have to try that next.

I also tried with some spicy sausage.Chopped up the sausage, cooked it in a pan until it was all browned and delicious.Threw it in with the pasta and *, that was good! It had a nice kick to it, and the sausage went really well with the tomato sauce. It was a super easy meal, and everyone in the family loved it. We were all scraping our plates clean!
Honestly, I’m pretty happy I found this Cellentani stuff. It’s a nice change from the usual spaghetti or penne, and it’s just as easy to cook. If you’re looking for something a little different, definitely give it a try. I think I’m gonna keep experimenting with different sauces and see what else I can come up with. Maybe a creamy mushroom sauce next time? We’ll see!
