Alright, so I had this craving for a romantic dinner in Santa Fe, and I heard about this place called “Dinner For Two.” Sounded just right, right? I decided to dig in and see what they had on the menu.
First, I did a quick search online to get a feel for the place. I found out it’s a family-owned joint, which is always a plus. They’ve been around since 2002, so they must be doing something right! It’s located downtown, just a few blocks from the historic plaza. I checked out their address too, it’s at 106 N Guadalupe St, with parking at the Yates Lot on W San Francisco St.
Next, I started looking for their menu. I saw some reviews and ratings on different websites. People seemed to like it, and I got an idea of the prices. It’s labeled as a steakhouse and a cocktail bar, so I figured we could get some good food and drinks there.
Then I hunted down the actual menu. It took a little bit of searching, but I finally found it.
- Appetizers: They had a bunch of options, like calamari, some fancy salads, and a couple of soups. The prices were reasonable, nothing too crazy.
- Main Courses: This is where it got interesting. They have all kinds of steaks, like ribeye, filet mignon, and New York strip. I also saw some seafood dishes, like grilled salmon and lobster tail, if you’re into that. The prices here were a bit higher, but hey, it’s a steakhouse, so what do you expect?
- Sides: They offered the usual suspects, like mashed potatoes, asparagus, and creamed spinach. I always love a good side of mac and cheese, so I made a mental note of that.
- Desserts: They had a decent selection of desserts, like cheesecake, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée. I figured we could share something sweet after dinner.
- Drinks: Their cocktail menu looked pretty impressive. They had all the classics, plus some signature drinks that sounded interesting. I knew I’d be ordering a couple of those for sure.
After browsing through the menu, I felt pretty good about this place. It seemed like the perfect spot for a nice dinner for two. The atmosphere sounded intimate, and the food looked delicious. I decided to make a reservation and see how it goes.
I made a special request for a table close to the window, you know, for a romantic view. After confirming the booking, I found out that it was a great idea to add a special request like this. I’ll definitely keep that in mind for next time!
I’ll let you know how it turns out, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a great evening!
