Alright, let me tell you about this thing, this… murderous Lewellyn’s candlelit dinner, yeah, that’s what they called it. I heard about this fella, Lewellyn. Young and handsome, they say. But lemme tell ya, handsome ain’t everything. This boy, he was strange. Real strange.
Folks in the building, they’d see him doin’ all sorts of weird stuff. Like, why does he spend all day peeling onions on the apartment stairs until his eyes are red-raw? And get this, what’s with those filthy black fingernails? Makes ya wonder, don’t it? I mean, who peels onions all day? And the fingernails… just plain nasty. Folks tried to ignore him, you know, live and let live. Nevertheless, they still whispered, they still watched.
Then things started gettin’ even weirder. One day, strange memos start showing up at his front door. Nobody knew what they said, but they looked important, official-like. And Lewellyn, he looked worried, real worried. He’d pace back and forth, read those memos over and over. People were curious, sure, but they were also scared. Something wasn’t right. You could feel it in your bones.
- Memos showed up
- Lewellyn looked worried
- People got scared
Now, there’s this other person, Shavonne. Don’t know much about them, but they lived in the same building. Shavonne, they didn’t pay much mind to Lewellyn at first. Tried to keep to themselves, you know? Shavonne tries not to concern himself, but how can you ignore a fella peelin’ onions all day? And those memos… they made everyone nervous.
So, out of the blue, Lewellyn invites Shavonne over for dinner. A candlelit dinner, no less. Now, that’s strange right there. Who invites someone they barely know for a fancy dinner? Especially someone as odd as Lewellyn. Nevertheless, Shavonne reluctantly accepts a dinner invitation at his neighbor’s place. Maybe Shavonne was just bein’ polite, or maybe they were just curious. Either way, they went. Big mistake, if you ask me.
Dinner started off normal enough, I guess. Candles flickerin’, food on the table. But then, But after he makes a gruesome discovery during the candlelit meal, everything changed. I don’t know exactly what Shavonne found, see, but it was bad. Real bad. Maybe it was something in the food, maybe it was something hidden in the apartment. Doesn’t matter, I reckon. What matters is, Shavonne found something they shouldn’t have.
And then, well, things got messy. I heard screams, shouts, the sound of things breakin’. Folks in the building, they were peekin’ through their doors, scared outta their wits. Nobody knew what was happenin’, but they knew it wasn’t good. The police came, sirens blaring, lights flashin’. They took Lewellyn away, and Shavonne… well, Shavonne was never quite the same after that night.
Before he can uncover the mystery behind them, Shavonne got caught up in something terrible. That candlelit dinner, it wasn’t romantic, it wasn’t friendly. It was a trap. A deadly trap. And Lewellyn, that handsome young man, he wasn’t just strange, he was dangerous. Real dangerous. So that’s the story, as best as I can tell it. Murderous Lewellyn’s candlelit dinner. A night nobody in that building will ever forget. And it all started with them onions, wouldn’t you know it.
